Tamara Gifford - Salon Owner/Hair Designer/American Board Certified Haircolorist - 303-521-6728
Tamara has been in the hair business since 1976. She started at Warren Tech and then furthered her education at Roffler Academy which specializes in sculpting cutting and trained exclusively with Framesi Italian Hair Color. She currently continues her education several times though out the year. As of April 2011, Tamara is an American Board Certified Haircolorist.
She began her career as an apprentice at Figaro’s. Then, she ran her business out of her home for five years and decided to go back to work with others at a salon. She was missing the comrade and the teamwork of a salon. In 1982, she started working at Jaspers, where she managed the salon for two years. She out grew the salon in April of 1984 then moved on to Shannon Michaels where she spent a brief time before she decided to give booth renting a try - which was the best move she could have made for her career!
She booth rented at Associated Hair Stylists, for Jim Ezzo, for 24 years until the salon had to leave the Cherry Creek Hotel (which was closing for demolition). Jim decided not to open up another salon since he already had seven salons with 58 stylists. So that’s when Tamara stepped up and opened The Forum Hair Studio – at The Forum Building - and everyone from Associated followed her to the brand-new, beautiful salon!
Tamara not only specializes in sculpting cuts (with a blade), she also knows many techniques to achieve whatever look you desire - for men, women and children.
